RegistrationWorkshop abstracts The participation in the Workshop is by invitation only. Invitations were sent in April 2012. Invitees who would like to present an oral or poster presentation must submit an abstract for consideration by the MODA Board. Authors must strictly adhere to the LaTeX template referenced below. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Board which reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation (oral or poster). Attendees must register under one of the following registration categories. Please note, however, that the fee below does not include accomodation.
*At the time of registration you must be retired and not hold any full-time employment. **The registration rates for accompanying persons covers lunches, dinners, coffee breaks, all social events, and shuttle service. Accomodation The main venue is the hotel Spa Morena. Accomodation is at this hotel and at The Castle of the Order of St. John. Please note that accommodation will be charged directly to each participant and is not included in the Workshop registration fee. The organizers only make room reservations, but payments must be made by participants on arrival (by credit card or by cash in PLN or in Euro). Special rates have been guaranteed for the participants:
The above prices are per night and include breakfast, use of the swimming pool and sauna, Internet access and parking. Due to the large number of persons who expressed their interest in attending the Workshop, we cannot guarantee the availability of single rooms to all participants. Therefore, it may happen that your accomodation will be in a twin room. An accompanying person is supposed to share a room with the corresponding participant. In Łagów there is also yet another good standard hotel, Le¶nik. It is situated at a distance of 800 m from the workshop site and those participants interested in guaranteed single-room accomodation may also book rooms there on their own. Social events The following social events are included in the registration fee for all registered participants and accompanying persons:
Visa Some participants might need a visa for Poland (a unified Schengen visa). Please visit the webpage of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for more details.An official invitation letter that confirms that you have been officially registered and reaffirms the expectation that you will attend the Workshop can be issued. The letter can be used for visa applications. Workshop registration now closed The registration deadline for the mODa 10 has already passed.
